oh

and we're orange or as i like to say, harvest, now.

Happy

Halloween.

Only two people said Happy Halloween to me today at CVS. We made over $7,000 today so that means we will meet and surpass our goal tomorrow. Fabulous.

Pat's turning me into a nerd because all I do is listen to classical music and read scores. I like being a nerd.

I like watching Mark Summers on Food Network's Unwrapped. It's pretty entertaining.

I'm listening to some chick.. Larkin Grimm. Check her out if you like Vashti Bunyan or Joanna Newsom.

We had one of these at Shauna's when we got home last night. It was hanging out on the wall. Sons of bitches are chilly outside so they're coming in. Well.. as much as I love all of my friends from the earth, these assholes can go fuck themselves. I'm sorry, but nothing should look like that.

TENGO SED

All there is to drink is milk, and I am in need of something more. I want some juice or vitamin water or something. Some iced tea. I need something sweet and delicious.

I want to have a library of scores now. I really like reading scores along with music. I want a big library and seem really pretentious and obnoxious. It would be a lot of fun. I want to get a VW Rabbit.

Sushi was delicious tonight, and I'm very glad I did that other than Pep Band. Maybe Pat and I will go to the deli tomorrow for breakfast, that could be exciting. I'm in the mood to go on a trip somewhere. Like VMEA last year in Norfolk was fun. I'd like to do something like that again.

I wouldn't mind if money was unlimited or if all music was free. I really love the Concertgebouw.

My mom's birthday is tomorrow. Oh yippee. We get to play new music in Wind Symphony. Too bad it's for a fucking graduate fucking conductors fucking concert. "DON'T WORRY EVERYONE, THIS WILL NOT BE SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS EVERY YEAR - WE ARE GOING TO CREATE A PIZZA AND BEER ENSEMBLE FOR AFTER-HOURS PLAYING. WE WON'T TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR TIME." Bullmuthafuckinshit. I am absolutely SICK and absolutely TIRED of our Wind Symphony being used as a tool for graduate conductors. It is not our fault that they don't have an ensemble to conduct themselves. This school wants to become a big name music school? Knock all that shit off then. I didn't come to college to play high school literature. Oooo we played Maslanka, oooo we played hindemith. Yeah. One time. But please, let us keep playing Tichelli and Camphouse and my personal favorite four fucking canadian folk songs. I've had more than enough of it.

FISHES!

Oh yeah - one time I had fried alligator at Fat Tuesday's with eric and andy and phillip.
It was good and all but it didn't have a surfboard or swim trunks so I mean I guess it was okay how good could it really be without those things right?

Bloonk Blank Blonk Florp

I want to go to these events at the Kennedy Center:

Nov. 13-15
Stravinsky - Symphonies of Wind Instruments
Bernstein - Serenade after Plato's "Symposium"
Stravinsky - Petrouchka (1947)

Jan. 22-24
Dusapin - Apex
Ravel - Piano Concerto in G Major
Berlios - Symphonie Fantastique, Op. 14

Feb. 5-7
Bartok - Concerto for Orchestra
Dvorak - Symphony No. 7 in D minor, Op. 70

Feb 19-21
Ravel - Le Tombeau de Couperin
Prokofiev - Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 16
Stravinsky - The Firebird (complete ballet)

Apr. 23-25
Webern - Langsamer Satz
Schoenberg - Verklarte Nacht, Op. 4
Brahms - Symphony No. 4 in E minor, Op. 98

I think it would be a lot of fun and good times. Let me know if you want to get together and do some of these fun things. I like this weather. Not when it cancels my plans to go to King's Dominion, though.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

I made this and it means nothing.

Santa Claus '08

So yesterday I went to Cox Farms in Centreville with Shauna and Tim and Lynn. It was a lot of fun and there was a Cornundrom and a Psychic Rooster and a Goat Village. I loved the Goat Village. They ate out of ice cream cones that I held for them to eat out of. We each received a complimentary small pumpkin but also purchased several large pumpkins for carving.

Shauna made a pumpkin full of Stars and it looks really nice and professional. Lynn kind of made a pumpkin that has a Turkishish Flag on it. My pumpkin has this face:
They all look nice with fire in them.

I saw Lewis Black last night with Pat and Kaitlyn. It was extremely entertaining. He yelled about Santa, and that was my favorite part.

Today we are going to go to Wegmans like usual. It will be nice because Wegmans is always a really nice place to go. I'm excited. There is a football game tonight (skinsbrowns) and maybe they won't lose. That would be nice.

I'd vote for Santa if I could.

D.B.I.A.D.

I don't really taste the difference between various milks. 1%, 2%, Skim, Whole - they all seem the same. I grew up on 2%, but since I've been with Shauna I have tasted all the others. If it's cold, it's delicious.

I say it a lot, but I'll say it again. I really wouldn't mind knowing and/or being related to Ben Bailey. He seems very likable and friendly and I wouldn't mind if he was my Uncle or something. I like uncles, I don't really have any.

Lures!

D.B.I.A.D. stands for "Don Bradner Is A Dinosaur." He recently fell and scabbed up his legs - or so he says. Judging by the look and feel of his "scabs," I would not be the least bit surprised if Don Bradner was indeed a Dinosaur.

And if that were the case, I would be extremely jealous and a complete sore-loser. Don't be shy to ask him about his "scabs" and even touch them a little bit. He doesn't mind.

African Scream Contest

So I've been listening to this Afro-Funk stuff from West Africa during the 70's all day today. It's really good and you all should check it out.

Zissou

Feel free to follow the happenings of our local soccer league: http://pabsoccer.blogspot.com

Also, air is coming out of my rear end and it does not smell very good at all. I don't want to play in any ensembles tomorrow. I don't like pep band at all. I'm very sleepy.

I'm lost at sea.

Silly Old Bear

So I missed my bus and that's awesome. It passed by super early compared to when it usually does. No keyboarding for me today. I'll catch the next one in half an hour.

Shauna made really good chicken last night. The sauce had mustard in it, but it was good. I usually don't like mustard. The mustard on some sandwich at Panera is good too.

Chef Jeff

I moved a lot of rock salt around at work today. It was really heavy and it made me sweat a lot sometimes. It was hard to carry it up and down ladders.

It looks like they would need a lot of rock salt. They can come buy some at CVS.

We're waking up really early to go to PA tomorrow.

Orange Pineapple Juice

So I had a pretty wacky dream last night. Shane was in a lot of it. Probably because I was talking to Shane for a while last night. Well anyway I was walking around a school and looking for the bathroom, and everyone knew where it was except me. It was hard to find but eventually I did and I went to the bathroom. There was more but I don't remember. One time I had a dream that Professor Maiello was quoting There Will Be Blood. That was a good dream.

Get Behind Me, Santa!

Christmas really is a nice time of year. I like when there are trees decorated. Real trees are real nice! I like them because they smell nice. Shauna is allergic to trees, but that's okay. Yankee Candle makes some good scents so even if you have a fake tree you can light a candle that smells like a tree so that your house (home) still has the same smell as if your tree was real and not fake. I like the ornament at home that makes a clicking noise. Mom always unplugs it because it makes her insane.

People sometimes complain about getting socks for christmas but I like getting socks for christmas.

That is not one of my socks, I don't have a carpet like that.

I'm Singin' About Raisins

Amy was babysitting a puppy tonight, so I sat and played with it.

Uglify

"Well, there was Mystery --Mystery, ancient and modern, with Seaography: then Drawling--the Drawling-master was an old conger-eel, that used to come once a week: He taught us Drawling, Stretching, and Fainting in Coils."

"What was that like?"

"Well, I can't show it you myself, I'm too stiff. And the Gryphon never learnt it."

"Hadn't time. I went to the Classics master, though. He was an old crab, he was."

Raspberries

That's what these colors remind me of. Raspberries! We used to eat berries a lot last year. Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries. They were very delicious and now when eaten remind me of good things.

I like when it gets colder outside. Since it has been cold I haven't worn any flannel.

I'm looking forward to Columbus Day, because we get to see A&R. Haven't seen them in a while so it should be very enjoyable - too bad it's only for half of a day.

Things are really nice and I like them. I can't wait for it to snow. Everything is greater together.
